This linen bag is a rather versatile bag in that the design has elements that enable a quick change from a sling bag into a belt bag. It has a corded strap with a knot and loop incorporated so that the strap can slip through loops at the sides of the bag, knotted, and then it is a slong bag. If you take the strap off there is a woven linen strap on the back of the bag that a belt easily slips into..
This bag was dyed with the leftover liquid of a safflower petal dye. It is a very pale pink, which is noticable against the white flap. The linen flap is macrame.
this particular bag is from one of my thicker linen spins, and weaves. It has a heavier hand to it than my finer spins and weaves.
It measures approx 6 1/2" long by 5 1/2 inches wide. The strap measures approx 56 inches long.
Most of my bags thus far will NOT hold a cell phone. This one is large enough to hold most cell phones.
NOTE natural dyes will fade over time, especially if exposed to the sun a lot. Washable in cool water and hang to dry.
